Array’s In-House Printing Capabilities: Integrated Technologies, Built for Precision and Scale
At Array, we have taken a long-term approach to building our printing capabilities, not as a supporting function, but as a core part of how we deliver for our clients.
In an industry where digital and silk screen production are often separated – and frequently outsourced – we chose a different path early on: to integrate both technologies within our own operations and develop them side by side. Over more than 20 years, this approach has been continuously refined through investment, process development and, most importantly, the expertise of our teams.
Bringing digital and silk screen together allows us to work without the typical trade-offs. Rather than choosing between flexibility and durability, or speed and visual impact, we can combine both achieving precise colour registration, consistency across formats and finishes that perform as intended in real retail environments. This is particularly important when working across a wide range of materials. Our capabilities extend to both extruded and cast plastics, as well as wood-based substrates. Cast materials, in particular, require deeper technical understanding and process control – an area where experience plays a critical role in achieving stable, high-quality results.
At the centre of our silk screen capability is the M&R Insignia B0, a system configured to our specifications and rarely seen at this scale. Operating in a 6-colour configuration and handling large-format applications, it allows us to deliver high-impact, high-volume output with exceptional precision and repeatability. Set against the broader European landscape – where most comparable installations operate at smaller formats and more limited configurations – this capability provides a clear advantage in both scale and application. Combined with our digital printing capabilities, it enables us to deliver results that go beyond standard production approaches.
Keeping these capabilities in-house allows us to maintain full control from concept through to final output. It simplifies production, reduces dependencies and ensures that what is designed is delivered consistently across projects and markets. Beyond production, we also support our clients creatively, developing and adapting artwork to ensure that campaigns translate effectively into physical environments, taking into account regional and retail-specific requirements.
This is not a recent addition. It is the result of long-term thinking, continuous refinement and the work of experienced teams who understand both the technology and its application. This combination of expertise, craftsmanship and the right investment defines the quality we deliver today.
